Options are provided for both gentler and more challenging paths. Suitable for all levels.

Thursday 19:30-20:30

yin & breath

with singing bowls

A healing class combining breathwork with yin yoga poses. Breath control practice seeks to balance the body’s chemistry and our somatic state. Combined, we heighten awareness, developing a deeper mind-body experience to release tension and slow down.

Meditation, chanting, singing bowls may be included. All levels.

What I offer

  • Ashtanga is a dynamic and traditional vinyasa practice that combines breath and movement to create an energetic yet grounding experience. The led class is guided by the teacher and follows the traditional Ashtanga Primary Series - "Yoga Chikitsa" (Therapy) up to a certain point as time allows.

Fundamental breathing and posture techniques are explained. Modifications and some hands-on assists are offered. Pranayama (breathwork) may be included.

Expect a challenging sequence that builds heat, focus, and deep inner stillness. Prior yoga experience is recommended though new practitioners are welcome and should send me a message beforehand.

  • This is the traditional, “self-practice method of Ashtanga yoga. Instead of being led as a group, students practice as much of the sequence they have memorised at their own pace, moving with their own breath. The teacher moves around the room, offering individualised verbal instructions and hands-on adjustments, tailoring the practice to your specific needs and pace of learning.

This class is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. As a beginner, expect your first few practices to last 30-40 minutes. It requires consistent attendance to build a safe, sustainable practice.

Students may arrive at any time as long as there is at least 30 minutes left in the session.

  • Vinyasa, meaning "to place in a special way," is a breath-synchronised movement practice. This class moves dynamically, linking asanas (postures) together into a flowing sequence guided by the rhythm of the inhale and exhale. Sequences are varied (unlike Ashtanga's fixed sequence) and may follow a theme, helping to build strength, flexibility, endurance, and mental focus. Breathwork / pranayama may be included. All levels are welcome, with options provided for a deeper experience.

  • Ignite your inner power with this focused, vinyasa-based class designed to strengthen and stabilise your entire core—including the abdominal muscles, back, and pelvic floor. By integrating core-specific exercises with traditional yoga movements, this practice will improve your posture, balance, and overall physical stamina. Breathwork may be included.

Expect a dynamic flow, building heat, and mindful engagement from your center outward. Prior Vinyasa, yoga, or Pilates experience is recommended.

  • The ultimate practice of mindful rest and therapeutic relaxation. In Restorative Yoga, the body is fully supported by props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks, allowing for complete, effortless surrender in each pose. Postures are held for extended periods, encouraging the deep relaxation of the nervous system, which helps to alleviate stress, fatigue, and chronic tension. Some gentle breathwork (pranayama) and Himalayan singing bowls may be included.

This class is designed to be accessible to everyone and is the perfect way to unwind and recharge.
